We want to feature a couple of Elephant Ear plants (or similar types) in our condo. One area is dimly shaded the majority of the day except for three hours in the evening , when the sunlight lights up everything very bright. The other location is a bit brighter and gets direct sunlight for 3+ hours in the evening.
We'd like to use the plants as focal points of the living room design. Can any please help us by suggesting the type of Elephant Ears ( if any) we might purchase?
As a side question, we're also seeking imposing Elephant Ears for our patio, which gets bright light and approx. 4 hours of sun per day.
We live in San Diego about 11/2 miles from the ocean.
Thanks.
