Hello there! I wondered if you could please tell me what this plant is, I bought today while shopping in M&S. I saw it and instantly loved it. It was £20 (so pretty expensive) but it doesn't state anywhere on the label what it is. Any help would be great appreciated ;) Thank you!
Help - what is this plant?
Looks like some sort of banyan tree to me.
It's known by many names - Ficus microcarpa (Indian laurel), sometimes classified F. retusa or Ficus retusa var. nitida; also commonly known as banyan fig, Taiwan ficus, ginseng ficus, pot-bellied fig, others ...
Al
It is indeed a Ficus Microcarpa.
