New Strawberry Plant

Hi, I have just bought a strawberry plant from the local garden centre. It's already got a few flowers. I was told to wait a couple of weeks before repotting, to give the plant time to get used to its new environment. When I repot,do I need to pinch off the flowers? There are so many conflicting articles on the internet, it can get very confusing! Thank you.
