I'm about to plant some bare root cherry trees. I've been told that the best start for them is organic soil (no fertilizer) and to mix dried bloodworms in the soil. Has anyone ever heard of this? And where can you get them??
Bloodworms
If you mean Blood worms (Lumbricus rubellus) they are a kind of earthworm and are good for the soil, but would have to be alive. however, if you mean those little thready red worms they feed tropical fish, I have no idea, but they seem kind of pricey to be used for fertilizer (to me) do you have any more info?
