My favorite Florida peach tree, which is about 7 years old, is leaking bits of sap from its branches and trunk. Otherwise the tree and leaves are healthy and it is flowering and producing peaches ( very early) . What would cause bits of sap to be leaking from the bark. I did just spray it with an insecticide.
Peach tree leaking sap.
Borers
Any of several diseases can make the tree ooze, too.
Is the sap moist and running down the trunk or branches? Or is it harder, more like a firmer round glob?
