Weather In Your Garden # 128

Uh oh. Hope it passes quickly in Maine. This morning it looks ominous here. Yesterdays rain resulted in heavy crystal snow. Bottom limbs of my evergreens were looking pretty weak so out came the shovel.

Foggy & 34....love to see the fog, takes down the snow quickly......

33 and the rain has just turned into rain/snow mix.

First time in 2 days that we have not heard the constant rain. & there is still snow pack in many places--although a few iris beds are clear. 36°

Lot of melting going on here in Brookline. A bunch of the yard is clear and green. Hope Celeste gets her power on soon and some warmth to melt her piles of snow. Patti

Power's back on, 17 towns lost power, not sure why yet. :(

Snow on wires? 46° & sunny. Where snow was 18" deep, it is now down to 5".

Yes, good news.....I lost my landline yesterday, have no idea why....came back on about 7 last night. Today was cloudy, but 47 at the farm & Grant & I were outside for almost an hour.

36 now going to 46.. still snow on my front lawn.. but getting there

A few more patches are showing in the snow in my back yard. Front yard is still quite deep. That area is in a different climate zone.

It would look pretty in Dec.....March, not so much! The snow here has melted around the tree trunks, & over the septic tank....melt snow, melt is right! 25 right now & cloudy...temp should be about 40.

33° & overcast A few snowflakes but they disappeared. Further melt over the iris beds, but a long way to go. The siberian bed is usually the last one to be free of snow.

just back from xcountry skiing - still pretty good in the woods.

Temp never got above 32, plus a nasty, stinging snow squall thrown in also.....
