Clear and 35. Nice day ahead. Rain starting tomorrow night.

Icy drive this morning, but better than Pixie's snow.....hoping we get all rain for the next storm, but right now it's starting as a mix.....

Snow covered Amarillo, Texas, where forecasters said up to 18 inches could fall, accompanied by wind gusts up to 65 mph. Paul Braun, a spokesman for the Texas Department of Transport, said whiteout conditions and drifting snow had made all roads in the Texas Panhandle impassable. Interstate 40 was closed from Amarillo to the Oklahoma state line.

This is their 2nd blizzard in less than a week!

why can't that happen here?

All drought areas like TX need the water. About an inch + here. It is still sticking to the trees (winter wonderland type) but falls off as the sun hits it. 33°

snowed all day here although in the end did not amount to much - everything has a nice coating of white - around 30 outside

35 degrees so the little snow we got is melting. Ugly mess outside down here in the valley, though I am sure up on the ski mountain it is quite good conditions for my DH. It was sunny until 8, but has become overcast. I need to walk the dogs, but it isn't a winter wonderland and the road is quite slippery from ice and mud so I am avoiding as long as I can. Patti

Temp is 42, snow is melting, but I still can't open the side door of my garage...it leads to my south garden, & I'm hoping bulbs are peeking up....glad the girls had a nice walk, Suey did as well......

39 and still raining. 1.16 inch since midnight.

We're in the freezing rain belt. Air temp is 39F so its lucky here. There are a few patches where the snow is falling away, side of a big hill for example.

Drive still had ice on it, but it's now 36 & raining.....hope a lot of snow goes with it.

DH said the snow was still coming down in southern vt. He was going to have to plow the driveways. Too wet to ski as it is one of those heavy damp snows. Patti

Rain finally ended here, showers predicted until about 7....43, hoping nothing freezes.....

Well we started out with wind, then it started snowing but not until late afternoon...3pm. Snowed like crazy for the next 5 hours then slowed down some. Went to bed @ 11 it was still snowing, now it's 34 degree's and it's dropping a slushy mixture~ part snow part rain!! It said we would get 6 - 10" along with a coating of ice. I'm guessing today is the ice part. :(
