Gardens Gems Purchased for 2013
I was told it was hit or miss with direct gardening so we will see what I get. I couldn't pass up the prices so I gave them a try.
Thanks for the new thread Celeste.
I might have listed the Lily Garden order on the previous thread but just in case here goes.
Ice Caves - which I cancelled, color was more yellow than green ,the lily in database wasnt what I wanted.I always check to see a plant growing in a garden instead of trusting a website image.
Antique Lace
Spice Islands
A short list, but I am running out of room
Spice Island is a unique one, I catch myself doing a double take. Is that a bad omen that it will eventually end up in my garden? LOL
I had it ordered a couple of years ago and it sold out.
Most od the Tangos look alike to me so I noticed thi one because of the peach background.
The Lily Garden had Rosepoint lace ,mine got given away by digging the wrong lily.
I noticed she has Antique Lace which is even better.Larger flower softer background color.
Both sound familiar!! LOL
Very nice but im instantly drawn to #1!!
Ohhh yes. With Plum Pudding Heuchera and nice golden Hakone Grass. That is a definate no matter what.
That will look lovely!
Jo, do you have a laptop computer that you can use on battery. I imagine you walking thru your garden with it (using Skype, which is easily set up). We would all be able to see everything as though we were there with you!!!!!
I'm drooling over all those selections! Love the Purple Paws iris, too....and that cold hardy fuchsia is intriguing....I've had fuchsia survive the winter here, but they don't bloom again.....of course, I neglect them! I ordered 3 DLs, 2 clems, & 5 iris, plus the camellia....I think I'm done, but one never knows!
Ahhhhhh, at last! Now I need to go take some photos. 😜
yeah Louise!!!!
Love that peachy color!!!
Me, too...
Its a feel-good color
I bought some seed starting supplies from JUNGS and they sent me free seeds, very excited about these!!

Thanks Louise.
Love that Vinca color!!!
Nice orders Jo
I had cabin fever today, so I went antique shopping.
I found "Catskill Mountains" windchimes. They are quite big and I can't wait until I hang them outside.
I was quite happy with my treasure.
I like chimes. Especially like the ones with the deeper tones.
Love chimes,,,,don't know if my neighbors do, though.....
I like chimes too.I also have a nice cast bell that goes crazy in high wind.
You have some lovely items in your yard!
Thanks Marilyn I have been lucky in my travels and trades.
A big fan of wind chimes and bells. My BIL once was so unhappy with our biggest Arcosanti Soleri Windbell that he went out in the middle of the night and stuffed a sock into it. We bought our first one in 1978 and have been collecting them ever since. But now we buy them only when we find them at flea markets or auctions. Patti
They are just beautiful.....
i like them as well - they sound expensive
They are beautiful and come in all sizes and prices:
