To Whom It May Concern,
We are avid gardeners who frequently access Dave's Garden for information on perennials as we find your website invaluable. However, we are NOT very computer savvy as our technological skills are at the Computer 101 Remedial level. Therefore, we always have difficulty figuring out how to use your plant base to find info on perennials, as it is not a seperate category. Nor do you have some of the major perennial varieties listed, such as coreopsis, echninacea or galliardia.
Is there any secret to how we can find these perennials? Also do you provide any information on new varieties for 2013? We have learned, often the hard way - i.e. cost or performance, that we need to be patient and not necessarily purchase a new variety because of the grower's claims, which we have often found - much to our dismay - to be greatly exaggerated. So, we like to find out what other gardeners in different parts of the country feel about these plants and their performance.
Thank you for your time and cooperation. We look forward to your reply.

PERENNIALS
Hello The Taylors,
Right under the top which says Dave's Garden and the gazebo picture, you see a row of areas. Move your mouse to Communities and click. When the screen comes on,...look for "Forums" in the left side column. Scroll down alphabetically to Perennials and click on that. This will start you off!
...And now that you have gotten there,...Scroll the screen down to the bottom until you find the subject box and type your subject/question. Then go to the box below that and fill in more information regarding your question. I am sure the good folk there will help you, and I know the busy DG staffers will be with you soon with better help.
I hope this helps get you started though.
David

you can also ask specific questions in this forum or another beginner forum(ie http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/f/b_flowers/all/ or http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/f/b_landscaping/all/ and start a thread just like you did here but about a specific flower
