Pork, sweets, peas, apple salad and corn bread

Really lazy, decided to go out for Chinese...hoagies tomorrow.

Salmon, collard greens. A glass of red wine (Bota Box-Malbec from Argentine)
Pumpkin pie with lots of cinnamon on top. A cup of tea (vannila spice bought at the Sundial Gardens in Hgginum, CT)
A glass of Port wine (taylor fladgate from Portugal)
I had a good day and I had a good dinner. This is comfort in my house.

Yum. Wonderful dinner Rose. I also endorse salmon as a comfort food. I buy smoked salmon for sandwiches with avocados. With the cold weather, its comforting to eat foods that probably reduce body aches.

I usually cook Sunday dinner for Mom & my sister, but with the iffy weather I brought the food to Mom yesterday....today, a friend invited me to lunch...wow....nice feeling pampered.

When I cook, I make sure I make enough for leftovers. I love leftovers.

Ribs cooked in the crock-pot all day, twice baked potato, coleslaw, buffalo wings, shrimp cocktail, homemade bread.
Makes ribs fall right off the bone!

Made pasta with chicken, fresh spinach and white beans. Was yummy.

bread came out great.

Baking meatloaf, potatoes, & summer squash for a church family with illness.....they only live 2 minutes from me, or they'd never get it! Snow is getting nastier by the minute....

mine beeps when it's time to put the raisins in.. so they don't get water logged and take the water away from the flour .. but I have put them in prior to the mixing before I went to bed.. just have to make sure you line them up on the outside of the well to keep them dry until the timer starts .. garlic herb bread.. pepperoni bread .. so many wonderful things
