Pixie and I have the same weather.I cant believe it can get much colder.But it will.

The weatherman said nothing of this.. When I left the house it was coming down

One inch of snow.....not enough to plow, but enough for me to get out there to shovel in 16 degree hateful January weather!

We got about an inch also. We had our friends in for dessert after going out for dinner and when they left at about 8 it was snowing and already accumulating! We were surprised when the door was opened!

Looking like I won't be going to that wedding Friday.

Why? did they call it off?

The sun is nice.....my driveway is melted where I shoveled, & it wasn't bad walking Suey as long as we were in the sun.....

DH froze skiing, but he didn't leave the mountain until it was 9*. He bought some hand warmers to put inside his gloves. I think he had Stratton to himself so he had a great day skiing. I stayed home and worked on my garden journal and made a big pile of meatballs. I will freeze most of them for later meals, but we will have some tonight with some of his homemade red sauce from our summer's veggie beds bounty. Yummy. Patti

can say it's a three dog night .. for real.. Jily is on my feet.. Hope up my butt.. Eros on my lap.. Lily is upstairs under the covers I am sure

Snow is practically all gone here, figures can't run the pellet stove hubby has to clean it, it was blowing sparks, don't want to burn the place down

really?.. I didn't think it would do that.. hope nothing is wrong with it

Ugh. I think I may have the flu, despite the shot. Fever, body aches and he absolute worst sinus pain I ever had. Did not sleep at all last night. Thought it was just a sinus infection last night. Sucks!

Hate to say I told you so....hope you feel better soon!

We are @ -2 right now, weatherman says -21 with windchill.

After a low of 7, we are now up to a balmy 9.

It was zero at 7:15 when I ventured downstairs...up to a balmy 5 right now.....have to go up to the farm to babysit, always colder up there......hope you are feeling better, Victor....flu is nothing to fool with!

it was 0 earlier here as well.

sometimes a good sweat at the gym will help victor - just spray everything down when your done.

Thank you, all! Actually feeling much better today. So maybe not a flu??? DUHHH. Really bad sinus though. Worst pain I ever had. My teeth were even hurting.

Had to go out to a wake last night. Thought I'd freeze to death. Skipped the funeral today because of sinus infection. Victor, I can't live without Saline and hot beverages to help take the congestion pain away. Z Pak is the only prescription that works for me if this gets worse.

Cannot believe so many people still have no power/heat from Sandy! What a disgrace! After all this time, FEMA should have a generator for every house! Good lord.

here's 2 of my guys working in 1 of the Sandy destroyed houses, yelling at the plumber for turning the water off

holey moley -36 in Estcourt Station!!!! Do you have to wear goggles if you go out when it's that cold?

also up to 15° here. Weather man predicting lower temps for Maine again & warm up to the 30s here on Mon. Hang in there Pixie, we know that it's rough.
