Praying for you, Celeste, in this time that should be joyful. Christmas is the hardest for those who have lost loved ones. I hope you can find some happiness while you make things nice for the grands.
Love your color scheme, Hem! I would love to be able to have a different theme every year. I think that would be so cool.
What a nice prize for you wife, Bill. Congrats to her!
Nice on the collection, Allison.

Christmas Decorations
Thom, welcome back and I love the purple & green!
Bill, that sounds lovely!! Pictures please?
Allison, thats great, every little bit helps. :)
Thank you everyone for the prayers and well wishes, they are working. I've got the gifts all wrapped and the lights on the tree, will finish it up today along with washing the floors and start my baking. Christmas with the family is tomorrow @ 3 so I need to get moving. Thanks again and Merry Christmas!
Anytime, Celeste! I'm glad to hear the prayers are working.

Very nice, Ron. Best ones are the homemade ones.
Beautiful ornaments, beautiful memories.....
Love the ornaments!
I did my tree in all ornaments that my kids and grandchildren made or bought for me. We also did a PJ Christmas Eve. Everyone had to wear jammies and to be honest it was a hit!! One SIL said it should be made into a tradition. ^_^
Tarsha had "HELLO KITTY" jammie as the girls all love her. Tiffany had "Minnie & Mickey Mouse" jammies, Justin's were "Scooby-Doo", SIL Mitchell had "Wreck It Ralph" and I had "Chilly Willy" from my childhood days.
Tarsha on the left rocking her Hello Kitty jammies.
I like that ... so much better than a stuffy get dressed up party.. it's family.. should be that way!!!
It was all good until Tarsha & Mitch were on I - 95 and the toll booth guy cheated her out of $5 on a toll. She pulled over and she & Mitch flipped a coin for who was getting out of the car. "Hello Kitty" or "Wreck it Ralph"? As Darby later told me on the phone..." Wreck it Ralph LOST!"
Heehee!! I like the idea of a jammies party.
As a former toll collector I find that sad and maddening. If I was 10 cents off my tally I was upset with myself. Sometimes, if I was shorted because they handed me a pile of change and took off, I would add from my own pocket to make up the difference. And my cash drawer had to have the bills all facing the same way with the heads right side up. and my lane had to move the fastest. Anal, huh? I prided myself on being the fastest and most accurate. AND I spoke to every vehicle and smiled. What a tangent!! Heehee
You must have made your customers day, Jan!
Heehee. That was my goal!
Love the memorable homemade ornaments, Ronnie.
I always open gifts in my jammies, pretty much. Been doing that for years, but we do it in the morning.
Karen

Woohoo!!!
thanks to all of you!!!.. hugs!!!
Allison you guys earned it!! Congrats and enjoy!!
congrats!
You have low electric rates! Ours are supposed to go down starting yesterday.....
holy cow those are high electric bills - lately mine have been about $70 although during the summer with AC and the pond pump they were $150ish which was an all time high that I was not happy about.
You're lucky, Bill. Sky high here.
Same here :(
it would be around $45 - 55 without the lights.. and no AC
I don't think I've ever had a 55 dollar electric bill!
I never did either.
the advantage of a small house.. and only compact florescent or led lights in the house
Out electric bills are always high, too. That's cheap, Allison.
Karen
I have had many months where my electric USAGE was in the 30-40 dollar range....however, CL&P then charges 50-60 for TRANSMISSION fees......can't win....
Yes - plus my basic service charge is $32!
My Nov electric bill was $111.00
told you my bill for the lights was not that bad.. worth the LED price in the long run
Anyone start taking down their stuff yet?? Was going to start with the tree today, but not in the mood to. Have I said before how I DETEST TAKING DECORATIONS DOWN??!!
