I could use some prayers....Christmas tree is in the stand but still not decorated. I really have been trying my hardest to overcome the sadness that hangs over my head, but I can't seem to shake it. I still cry every day, I can't begin to describe how lost I feel with out my brother. He was the male twin of me, we are so much alike it freaks people out, even myself. I have tried everything I can think of to get on with Christmas...I even made it so on Christmas Eve when everyone comes over we will ALL be in jammies. This would of made my brother laugh and will make us all alittle more silly. I even chopped my 7ft tree down to a 5foot-nothing .... it wouldn't fit in the stand so we had to. Now it's 5 foot-nothing tree just like he & I. Joshua calls it "U.B.'s Tree", U. B. is short for Uncle Brian.
I have bought the gifts, about half are wrapped so I have alot to do in the next few days....and I will get it done for the Grandchildren if nothing else. I just could use some prayers for comfort, stamina and strength please. Thank you.
prayers sent, and hugs!
Awe, thanks Jumper, much appreciated.
Praying strength for you
Thank you
hugs, prayers and love Celeste.. wish we could be there to cheer you up
This is new to me...the multiple picture sharing...not sure if they upload as they are before you click send or not.
Tom and I decided to go with a purple, green and silver color scheme for Christmas this year. I started making deco mesh wreaths. The one wreath with all of the different sized ornaments is a 48" wreath, although it doesn't look it; it weighs about 10lbs, give or take. The smaller wreath with the green deco mesh is a 24" wreath, the table is our side table in our entry way. And the baby mama is our concolor fir...favorite fresh cut tree of all time. We have pictures of the outside, but I can't seem to find them on the lap top for some reason. Enjoy!
You got it, Celeste. You will feel better over time. Your brother would want you to be as you always were.
Very nice, Thom!
love all the purple Thom
Wha, she's a cutie!!
(((HUGS))) dear celeste!!!
Very nice, Thom! Festive!!!
Nice! Thom
collected another $17.00 last night.. not too many people got out of the cars last night.. too windy.. the box of candy canes isn't empty.. like the other nights when it was nicer out there
Pixie, prayers for you....maybe some grief counseling would help.....there's usually a group in our town run by the social worker, or one of the churches....it's free, & a big help, especially at this time of year. Thom, the decorations are very creative.....Allison, that's still a nice amount for charity....
cheer up celeste hope you feel better in the new year.
wife came home last night with the winning tree from a raffle they had at work. every year several people decorate small xmass trees that they then raffe off - he prized tree is made by a co-worker who makes hand blown glass ball ornaments, must be about 10 of them on the little tree, it also has lights and bows with amaryllis bulbs in them. she recieved one of the ornaments several years ago as a gift that we have treasured. she was so excited as was I.
Nice! congrats to her
Awesome, wha!!!
That was a great win! Homemade ornaments are a treasure.....
that's great Bill.. post a photo.. sounds great!!!
up to $73.00 collected so far.. not bad
Great, Allison!
