I just repotted both PL on Sunday. The one on the left I'm not worried about, It looks really great. I've had it for less time. The PL on the right looks terrible. I've had it longer and it did have some rotted roots when I repotted. I cut them off and then did the 5.1.1 mix. It was looking very nice after I repotted and just overnight it started looking like this. I tested the soil and it felt moist. Is it in shock?
PL in 5.1.1 mix.
They're in the tub because I decided to water just to see if it would perk up.
You repotted last Sunday, and the plant wilted when?
Al
It just wilted last night. I think I know what was wrong. I think I had the soil too high. It was starting to get crown rot. Plus I cut some of the leaves off because I don't think it had enough of a root system to thrive with that many leaves. I'm going to post a picture I just took in a minute.

OK. So do you think you have things under control now?
Al
It looks better now. So hopefully all is well. I will keep an eye one it.
How have you been watering it since your original post? If you haven't watered it since the Sunday you mention in your 11/17 post, it could be in need of more water. But if you've watered it a number of times since then, it could be you're watering it too much.
I've watered a few times since then. I think it might have root rot now because I pulled the whole thing out of the soil on accident trying to adjust it in the soil. I put it back in and the soil was still damp at the bottom. Hopefully it will be alright.
Is there a mix of different types of soil now? Something totally different in the old root ball, surrounded by a different texture of soil in the rest of the pot? If the root are soggy, you may want to discard the soil that was in the pot and put a much smaller amount of fresh soil around the roots.
Nope I took all the soil out from the rootball. I think its pretty much dead now. Only about two leaves that are not yellow.
