this was a surprise. It is pretty but I'll be lucky if I get 1 sd pod. If I get more than 2 sds I will save you one or two. The color is striking.

Just one small bloom today but the hummingbird made my day. I had to full it to go to the feeder just in case the blooms don't have enough nectar.
Thanks Debra and Helena. The LYK's do make some odd shaped blooms. The blue one has
done the same thing. I think they kind of look like the Kikyo shape at times. Wonder if thats whats in'their background?

girls and guys, I am requesting a card shower for my sister, you know she has cancer, and I don't have all your emails to send you her address. She is recovering from another surgery to get the fluid off her heart from the chemo and cancer, she is just so frustrated cuz none of the surgerys to draw fluids are working.. they told her no more fluid withdraw attempts and she is not happy. it is hard for her to eat and breathe at the same time as the fluid is in her lungs, her heart cavity and her stomach all at once. Geez!

I've started one no Beni sd just so I can try to hand pollinate to get more sds. This one just does not
like to make any sds.
