It looks like mold. Most of the leaves have dried out, shriveled up and fallen off.
I noticed it a few days ago, now it looks like its spread to my aloe. What is it?
Thanks,
~Cass
What is this? It's spreading.
it looks like rot from too much water. they can take heavy rainfall but they have to be able to dry out quickly and being up against the house may be preventing that from happening.
We have had a bit of rain here recently. I'll move them and hope they dry out! Thank you :)
~Cass
Also check the drain holes on your pots to make sure they haven't become plugged up.
i missed that they were in pots.......they should be kept in unglazed clay pots to optimize drying and the Kalanchoes will tend to die out after they bloom but new ones will start up again all around the mother plant. once they are tall and gangly, that's usually it for them.
