I dug my sweet potatoes today. About 1/3 have been eaten, or are being eaten by a slug (I think). First time this has ever happened in many years of growing sweets. Anyone have any information about this problem?
slug in my sweet potatoes
It's Limax maximus, giant slug. Put down a pet/bird friendly slug bait, or the proverbial beer in a dish. Plow that part of your garden deeply yet this fall to break up egg clusters
