31° First time below freezing. I don't know what the low was. supposed to be in the 60s tomorrow.

Frosty, did not dress warm enough for my walk

well the coleus look skinny.. but not total mush yet

We had an overnight low of 30 F but the coleus are hanging on! Still only 39. We created a cold frame from storm windows for the pots of southern magnolia and hibiscus. Citrus trees are happy indoors. The camellias got their shrub hats last night. It will be odd to see their blooms underneath all the protection.

Sounds like they will be fine, Rosemary.....Low of 27 here......annuals are gone.....

We got a little bounce back in temperatures along with more rain. Yesterday's high was 56F, overnight low 36 and its now about 50. I'm digging beds and fortifying them for some special peonies--garden treasure, prairie charm among others. It's a race against time since working in the cold isn't really much fun anymore. Coleus in exposed areas look like they can be dug any time now.

69 and wind is picking up. cold front and storms on their way.

Cleared nicely, and it's 66 right now...breezy.....going to bring a friend out for an ice cream......might be the last of the year!

Rain a good part of the day which wasted the warmer temps. 61 nowe which is warmer thatn earlier. Have Dr. appointment tomorrow which will waste the day.

51 was the overnight low and it still is. Rained overnight after it was overcast all yesterday. Ground seems to have soaked it up.

Yes we had a earthquake, no I didn't feel it. Like Allison said...Cyrus got blamed for it. He chases the cat, always make the house rumble!! LOL

My son called me a few minutes after the earthquake happened, & said he felt it.....nothing here, but the paper this morning said NW CT did feel it....must be on a different subsoil.....nippy walk this morning, the temp was 35....had a heavy frost during the night....

Into the 40s this morning. Sunny & the wind has died down. Did not feel the earthquake.

Overnight low of 36 F, yesterdays high was 60, now just 39 but the sun is coming out!
