Repeat of the last few days....overcast, occasional showers, heavier rain later, temp in the 70s, high humidity....ugh!

61° & drizzle off & on. Supposed to spray for mosquitos because of a horse with EEE in the next town. they won;t be able to do so today.

EEE & West Nile are scary....many cases reported this year......I saw a peek at the sun for about 10 seconds.....back to dreary.....

You would think that as the have a West Nile vaccination for horses, they could do one for humans as well.

they do.. called the east / west vaccine .. but it's a different thing for a horse.. I think

Had a real downpour a bit ago.

Pouring down now....the new catch basins are obviously not working because i have a river running down my front yard.....

scattered rain all day & 60° now. Supposed to be dry & in 70s tomorrow so I would guess that spraying will take place in the evening.

sounds similar to something my parents had to deal with when they built their house in GA, my dad dug up the area where they had installed the drainage pipe, and found they installed it upside down

Temps in the 60s & 70s this late in Oct were great. Looks like winter is approaching.

Sunny earlier, but now clouds are moving in....only 46 right now....rain later this afternoon...

Temp is on the predicted high of 55°. Quite a change last night watching the temp drop 20° from dinner time to bed time.

so glad I put the heat switch on before going to bed last night.. it's 34 out there now.. when we have parties I have to open the windows even when it's cool out.. the house heats up quick with the stove, sterno trays, and too many bodies.. so it was warm in here last night.. wow is it chilly out there now!!.. fired up the wood stove now... going to 57.. looks like a nice fall day
