Please help! We have an armourdilla that tears through our landscaping almost every night. We have tried traps, noise, lights but nothing has worked. Our last attempt was sprinkling crushed red pepper. This did help but with all the rain we are getting plus lawn sprinklers it is not a lasting cure. I read online to put chicken wire beneath the mulch and it would prevent them from digging. Before we go to this expense does anyone have any idea:?
Armourdilla
Armadillos are not a protected species. You have the right to shoot them with a gun. Or get someone to shoot them. I have heard that coyote urine granules are the best repellent. It repels several predators. Armadillos carry rabies and leprosy. Luciee {;^)
Here is some info for you. Depending on where you live, there are companies that will trap and remove nuisance animals. You can also try the repellant method.
