These blueberry bushes were planted in late May of this year. The two varieties are Home Bell and Premier although I am not sure which one is which. Why is the one bush growing so bushy and so rapidly when the others are not? Is this normal? Do I need to prune it or cut off the bushy parts?
New blueberry bush growing oddly.
Are you sure that what you have pictured is a blueberry plant? From what I am seeing it is not. Looks like a weed to me. I have never saw a blueberry plant look like this before.
Me either which is why I'm asking! Those bushy parts are definitely growing off the blueberry plant that we planted!!!
Please post close-up photos.
Blueberries do have what could be described as small white flowers, but not ones that look like that. Try the "Plant Identification" forum. This looks like something vaguely daisy-ish to me, but I'm no expert.
