Mulch Pine vs Cedar

I've always preferred Cedar mulch in landscape beds because it lasts longer and termites are less attracted to it than pine:

I realize that it does not decompose fast and if I want organic mulch for certain plants I suppose I could put it under the Cedar.
I plan to mostly use Cedar in our beds as I've been doing for years but will use Pine around Blueberry plants since Pine helps acidify the soil.

Any other advantages to pine that I'm missing?

Any specific suggestions for mulches around fruit plants for health considerations?
