was too humid to open the windows even though the temps were low last night.. I kept everything closed.. too bad.. 70 now going to 82 .. some scattered storms around.. woke up to the deck being wet.. yeah no watering!!!

It's 65 here, still a little humid but better, high of 81 today.

74° & mainly sunny. At 11:30 last night it suddenly sounded like the roof was caving in. the thunderclap took me by surprise as I had not seen any lightning. It rained & a closer thunder storm went on for a bit over an hour. Shut the bedroom window as the rain began to blow in.
DH measured 3 & 3/4" in the rain gage this morning.

Wow, Iris...that's a huge amount of rain! Sunny & 75 here.....

We had thunder showers that knocked out several antennas in the region last night. This am our internet tower was down, and cell phones were disrupted. The day ended up sunny, and thanks to RCN 's repairs, this message comes to you tonight.

No storms predicted for tonight. Last night's didn't disconect anything that I know of but was certainly booming.
