I swear the hairs on my arms was standing up right before the storm.. told Randy to stay back!.. gave me the creeps for sure.. such a shame about that strike

I know that newly planted shrubs need water every week the first year, but in the second year, how often do they need to be watered, do you think? And how about established shrubs/dwarf trees, how long can they handle no rain, any ideas?

It's 68 , real feel 70 with 94 % humidity....high of 82 today.

Granite, I would say if you haven't had rain that week to water, especially if they are only a year or 2....older ones should be OK.....the air is much nicer this morning, can actually breathe....

We have a regular cool house. Only used a/c over the weekend. It is tough to work outside.

Wow...the fact that I work outside for a living must make me a bit more tolerant of heat....I have not turned on my AC yet this entire summer.
