I bought Honeoye Junebearing strawberries. Im a beginner at these. Do I need something to hold these up. Wasnt sure how big they get

Info says you can plant 4 to a square foot, the runners are new plants- some ppl pinch them back first year, but I've always allowed them to double themselves, just guided the runners where I wanted the next plant to be- then kept the runners trimmed back. these are June bearing, so they only produce fruit during the month of June, supposed to be a good strawberry that freezes really well. Most strawberry plants don't get very tall- 6" maybe?
