Garden Gems 2012 #6
Allison, your geraniums & impatiens are so cheery..... sounds like you are a bit depressed....hang in there, hopefully you'll be back in action soon! Found the tag on this DL, it's Gavin Petit...thought the next was Dragon's Eye, but doesn't look like Pixie's...campanula Samantha, new this year...and leptodermis...and a new Oriental..
well I just came home from the DMV .. renewing my license... would make anyone depressed.. LOL.. seriously yeah I am bummed sitting around .. just tired of it.. but just that little bit of activity today was hurting.. so back to sitting still again... good news is the new things we are adding for the holiday decorations... is keeping me busy programming on the computer.. which I am excited about
going to look up your leptodermis.. looks neat.. don't know that one.. and I love your O lily!!!
Leptodermis is a low growing, small shrub.....takes awhile to leaf out in the spring, but I love it....so do the bees....
has that hummingbird shape.. do they like it?
Love MG's, and those are lovely!!
Really like 'Samantha' Robin and your lily looks like 'Rio Negro' or 'Sumatra'.
Not sure about the hummers, Allison because I have so few :>(.....Thanks, Pixie....Rio Negro is what I ordered....
Thanks for all the compliments, everyone!
Mittsy, those are some pretty MG's. I don't have any at my place.
Marilyn, I love Gavin Petit and Dragon's Eye.
Wow, Celeste, so many beautiful lilies! Love the combos, too.
More from me: 2 shots of a peach seedling, a yellow seedling with a rosy blush on the edges, Jock Randall, Crackling Rosie.
Karen
they are all great!!!
All the lilies are great!!
I am still amazed you know the names of most of them Karen
gold standard is pretty cool
Gold Standard is one of my favorite hostas. It starts out more green in the spring, then lightens up as summer progresses.
Karen
Just beautiful Karen! I think your tutti frutti noid it "Fruit Loops"
Beautiful blloms, Karen! Are most of the last ones still, or recently, blooming? I'm always looking for more late bloomers. Love Flasher.
as usual lots of nice pictures!
can't match all the color i see on this thread so here are a few shots of our pond and lotus plant. there are now two flower buds on it. love the leaves and how they collect rain water. frogs seem to like it too!
happy to report that the bacteria in the pond has finally taken hold and there is clear water - was approaching pea soup when we left on vacation, when we returned it had cleared up.
who needs color with that pond!!!.. just love it
