The local nursery did not know what was causing the edges of the leaves to curl - if left alone they curl and roll up tightly and completely from right to left till the leaf looks like two parallel sausages - inside are tiny white dots. I just check weekly and remove affected leaves, but am wondering what it is. Of course if there is a non-toxic-to-me-and-bees remedy I'd like to try it.
thanks!
Curled leaves on violet plants
Some pictures would help but maybe leafrollers?
"Leafroller"sounds like a good description of it.. I should be able to get a photo at the weekend. What cleans up leafrollers?
The red-banded leaf roller will attack violets, and also violet leaf midge will cause leaves to curl and spidermites can cause some leaf curl.
