It is Monday! Three more sleeps!

Tis so...my goodness, was up just after 3am, just couldn't sleep, think it's the anticipation of seeing you all..

Pretty close, I have to run some errands and pick up a couple things for the trip...my mind is packed, now just the bags! lol

Oh here's photo's Greg took Saturday of the Keewatin coming home..what a do that was..we'll drive to see her on shore..

Just checking in for today... much to do before sis arrives tomorrow... so don't have much time to spend here.
Son showed up to spend the night last night on his way to Tennessee. So, I didn't get much done last night... it's catch up time.
The excitement mounts... soon the adventure begins.

Been busy, but I'm baaaaaa-ack! City coming this am to look at blocks holding up mobile to see why it's twisting.

Evening all,

Noah, grandson graduated from grade 8 this evening, exciting time..just got in and off to bed for a good night's sleep! You know me, keeping track of the sleeps. Lol

JUST fell asleep, telephone rang, it's our Judy, Lordy I'll never fall asleep now. Lol

They crossed at Windsor last night, now in Canada, omg time is around the corner, just can't believe this gathering is starting to come together... Judy said they, made a little jside trip, in Niagara Falls,, Canadian side, going out for supper, both she and Steve can't believe the beauty. They will spend tomorrow sightseeing and will leave Wednesday and head my was...omg when I think of it they are ONLY 2 1/2 to 3 hrs away from me...if I didn't have to work tomorrow I'd drive to the falls and crash in on them..those who really know me know I'd do it in a sec. Big grin

I will never sleep now, my mojo just kicked in, too excited for this sleep stuff...

Judy wanted me to tell you all they are safe and enjoying their adventure...

So glad that Judy called, and is enjoying their trip to see you, Betty!! I'd be tempted to go meet them too, Betty - just See if I wouldn't lol I can appreciate how jittery you are, and excited. No wonder you can't sleep.........

Betty, we aren't going to be there as early as expected....DH has an appointment at 9:30 in the morning, but soon as he is done...on the road!!!

Oh happy days, will be a spectacular day in my neighborhood..

Sistah's 2012 Gathering is upon us..do hope any lurkers, friends who aren't able to join us will follow our adventure and post right along with us.

I'll do my very best to post photo's here as the Gathering goes on, 3 computer systems will be up and running should any of the Sistah's want to drop him..

Special hugs to those of you who could not make it..your presence of self will be with us, am sure your name will be mentioned throughout the Gathering..

Bet you can't wait to see everyone? What time will Judy and Steve be there? When you get home from work? Do you get out early?

Here early, got my car washed/vacuumed, am sure the dealership will appreciate it, even have 20 minutes to spare, actually I sent e-mail to Paul re client just soooo he knows what a good employee I am lol

From what I understand from Judy before they left that at some point this afternoon they would drop in the office..knows I work until 4:30pm so we'll see....they might get more sightseeing done and wait to arrive at my house once I'm home from work

I'll wait till mid afternoon and give Steve a call, if not arriving till a little later I'll go to Midland right after work to exchange vehicle and head home.

Greg will be there likely around 5:30 or so as he has to take Foxy Lady off blocks to put her on trailer..feel good about my lawn ornament being gone..poor Foxy Lady didn't even hit the water last year..we were all too busy!

So that's the plan

No, just had a few things I had to get done, amazing all the things we keep in our vehicles..maybe just me! Greg asked me how quickly I'd be filling it with lumber, plants etc. told me I really should have bought a truck!!

Looked at photo's of the gardens from last year, the phlox were all in bloom, likely 3 weeks behind in what's blooming..here I thought the gardens were ahead but not! The crocomasia (?) was also in bloom last year, this year not even a sign of a bud..

Wouldn't you know it!

Not to worry, Betty - they're coming to see YOU........ your gardens, as beautiful as they are, are secondary! Can't hug a flower (sure you can hug a tree....... but not the same thing as hugging YOU!)

You are to funny Susan...are you getting things organized so you can start your work week without having house chores?

yes, I'm getting things organized. Start work at 8am Friday, and it's the other end of the city, so have to figure out what time to leave. Map site says 18 min travel, and it's 2 straight through roadways - both major roads - so should be fine. I'll have to allow for traffic though.
The agency said "4 month position" but the job description says "open ended". I think that they're saying 4 months because if I don't work out they haven't promised me anything.....
This am I have to go to the Bottle Depot for Nami - 8 bags of recyclables - and will go to the Church this afternoon for selling more stuff and having the rest of the sectional picked up (he left 2 pieces because they wouldn't fit in his SUV!)

Oh my how busy I've been! Sorry to be MIA....just so much to do before I leave this evening to head to Janice's.

I know what love and laughter will fill your home tonight Betty! Can't wait to join myself. I have to check, but I'm pretty sure I can't call home with my cell phone from Canada, does anyone know if that's correct? Well, I know I CAN call home, I just don't want to have to give up my first born grandchild to do it!

Have all my clothes laid out and am starting to pack. Trying to get Dad and Bill all set for me being gone for 6 or 7 days!

Joyce, I have free minutes to USA so any of you can call home..that is not a problem..I never use the minutes because I'm just NOT a phone person, who would have thunk??? lol

Joyce, even I, a non drinker will sit and have one with Steve and Judy!!!!!

Love it! I'll tell Bill and Dad about the phone.....they'll be happy to know when I arrive there.

Betty - do you have unlimited minutes, or a set amount? I know there are plans that even the set amount are quite a few minutes............ more than most of us (unless you're like me and love to talk!) would use.

I get so many minutes each month but NEVER ever use them..even my family laugh, I say what's up, ok, bye and usually hang up before they get to say 'bye' my downfall..

oh, then I must Really be tugging your ear when I call......... oooooopsie on me lol

All packed and ready for Judy to arrive. Then take dog to day care, take car in for routine service, go to bank, go to physical therapy (Hurt, Pain, Ouch!) and home to wait for Judy. We will head out early tomorrow morning to pick up Stacey and the little man and off we go to across the border! See you all soon!

omygoodness - you're going to have quite the carload, Janice! Jonathan will get properly spoiled lol Think of all the new "aunties" he hasn't met!! Lots of kisses for the little man........... :-)

When she and I talked, she said early morning. Now early for me is like 5:00 am. I'm not sure what early for her is!!!!
