I am considering planting a few of these and in doing my research I have read conflicting information. The tag on the plant says its a perennial, however looking at various web info some say annual others say perennial.......so which is it? Any additional information is appreciated.

Here in my zone 9a garden, they are short-lived perennials that re-seed freely....they are often referred to as biennials (living for 2 years )
