This may not be the correct forum but the only one that seems likely.
I planted (bare root) an ornamental cherry tree in the spring of 2010. It was a good size about 5 feet tall. It has done well, grown and looks healthy. The problem/question is when will I get some blossoms on it? The first year I assumed that it was just getting established and didn't expect much. The second year I had hoped for at least a few blossoms but nothing. This year I thought for sure that there would be some------- but nary a one.
Did the nursery guy sell me a ringer? Do they have to be a certain age before they flower?
Hope someone can help.
