There are 2 very large black walnuts on the border line between my property & next door.
I would like to plant a row of Green Giant Arbs for a privacy screen. They would be planted about 15 feet in front of the trees, but still under the walnuts canopy. The walnuts will block out the sun till noon, but they would get full sun there after. Northeast PA. Zone 6. Would this be a good choice?
Will Green Giant Arbs grow under large Black Walnut trees?
Check out these links. according to the first one, Thuja is not bothered by Juglone from Black Walnuts.
