I hung four bars of Ivory Soap in some young trees in my back yard that the deer were rubbing antlers or stripping bark from. I had heard this was a good deterrent and so decided to give it a try. I just got back from a vacation after nine days and three of the four bars of soap are gone. The strings are there but no soap! I thought maybe the squirrels took them. Anyone have any idea what happened? Very puzzling.
