I would like to add more Flowers (including Edible Flowers) to my Winter and Fall garden. So far I only have Pansies and Calendulas for the cold weather.
What other Flowers (including Edible Flowers) could I plant (from seed) for the Fall and Winter .....
I'm in Zone #8/14.
Cold-Weather Flowers (Including Edible Flowers)
Camellias, Hellborus orientalis and niger, crocus and loropetalum all come to mind. They are all zone 8 hardy. Snapdragons are also an option...they bloom all Fall and Spring and sporadically thru the winter.

I have some Baby Snapdragons blooming. Took a long time for the seeds to sprout (planted around early January this year), and then even longer before they started blooming.
Do I need to cut the stems back so they will continue to bloom .....
Yes, keeping them deadheaded prolongs the bloom time...I just snip off the spike after each one finishes. But, you may want to leave a few spent blooms to form seeds for the next go-around. My little grandson planted some snapdragons when he was visiting from Australia in Feb of 2010....two years later they are still going strong.
