Hello I'm a beginner garden and I wanted to ask other memeber how they store left over soil? any tips on where and how?
I was thinking of storing it in a bucket i had but started thinking if it might grow fungus.

Potting soil Question
A garbage bags would work.
I just leave it in the bags outside
If the bag is open, I keep it in a cheap plastic trash can with a lid....
I keep mine in a metal trash can on the deck.
Trash cans in garage.
One has potting soil, perlite, vermiculite, one has fertilizers, one has orchid bark, moss, charcoal etc.
I have large Brute cans on roller bases so they can roll right out to the patio to be used then rolled right back in.
I just try not to buy to much at one time unless it is on sale or something.
thank you so much for the tips
Mainly ya just want to keep it dry and keep critters out of it, so any container/bag that you can close up will work.
Plastic buckets and trash bags, kept out of the rain
I don't recommend plastic containers. The squirrels ate right through mine. Guess they wanted to see what was inside.
