Having moved to Pennsylvania from Britain, one of the things I miss in spring is woods full of bluebells (Hyacinthoides non-scripta, formerly Endymion non-scriptus or Scilla non-scripta) . So I planted lots over the last two years, only to discover they are being chomped to the ground. I thought they were poisonous. I'd appreciate any thoughts! Thanks
What eats English bluebells?
Those cuts are really straight- it almost looks like someone took scissors to them. I don't see tooth marks at all-?
