Hopefully you will find everything made it just fine. I have been thinking the same thing about the months switching places.
I'll be popping in to Wellsweep tomorrow on my way to a baby shower. I'll need to restrain myself, I'm sure. Going with my niece who loves gardening, too, so I'm sure we will be egging each other on.
Spending spree #11
Seedlings look wonderful, Pam! Yes, the months are reversed....April has been pretty awful!
received an order from Klehm's yesterday and was pleasantly surprised my the robust plants received. the cornus alt. golden bullion was easily 3x the size i ordered for the same price from another vender last year, that one died. the others where picea orientalis tom thumb and picea pungens sester dwarf.
Glad you got some good ones, Bill! I couldn't remember anything about my Bluestone order.....hello...it came yesterday....plants look healthy, but won't go into the ground until Sun. or Mon.
I can never remember my orders so as soon as I get that email confirmation receipt I copy and paste it into a word file by supplier and date so I can reference it easy enough
I knew I had ordered something, but when Jo started talking about the new pots, my mind went blank....thought I had already planted the order!
with a freeze warning tonight Jan.. not sure how much they will have out.. but I am sure you can find some nice goodies in the GH's
Jen, I do the same thing. No way I could keep it all straight otherwise. This year I got busy on the co-ops, too. I try not only to list the order, but also plant requirements and details and where I was thinking of putting them. Last year I was scratching my head for months on what to do with some of my must-haves!
Pam
BTW, we got here this afternoon and everything is just fine. Including, wonder of wonders, all the tomatoes which have been outside in the mini- greenhouse, along with the snapdragons. I left the zipper open with a piece of Reemay clipped over the opening with clothespins. According to our mini-maxi thermometers it stayed 5 degrees warmer in there while we were gone. For tonight, I closed the zipper, that's all. Tomorrow I'll open it during the day so the plants don't cook. Luckily we're here until Monday, and then it's supposed to warm up again.
New clems are inside, new Hosta were out for the day, in for the night.
One good thing is, both inside and out, the plants aren't getting too big too fast. The ones that need the heat are still in NY. I think I'm getting better at this... Lol
Pam
Glad the plants are OK, Pam! Happy planting....
Whew, glad to hear it Pam
I wondered the same thing, Allison, but Wellsweep had a bunch of stuff out. Unless they were real busy this morning. Lol. I was soooo tempted, but I stood firm. Actually I did get a Dicentra gold heart for my niece. What was I thinking? My she will give me some babies some day. Hee hee
Also went to Top of the Barn in Califon. It's a thrift shop. A M A Z I N G. Many items with original tags listed over $100 going for a variety of prices , but mostly $2-4. My niece has gotten her work wardrobe there. She has lost 100lbs over the last 18 months, so her sizes keep changing. Just an amazing shop.
Allison, here's that golden leaf Cercis I was talking about

Anyone buy herbs? How much does a 4 pack go for in your area????
I do ... but don't remember how much.. they are not too bad.. still cheaper if you grow from seed though.. I get impatient and want a large plant
Yeah I was impatient too and bought the last 4pk of cilantro today, $2
Doesn't ring a bell but I have a few that look just like it.
Which ones do you have that look like it?
and do you have a pic?
I would have to check. Lots of dark ones like that.
Deer resistant plants also has that one, Jen.
Wow - look at this one! I'm in love...

I think I have Onyx....bought it last year at WFF, but it didn't bloom this year.
I NEED it.
Kind of bright.
lost my disanthus cercidfolis - redbud hazel due to the Oct storm with only on branch leafing out - after some searching found one nursery locally that carry them will be there on Wednesday.
good thing I only bought that pack of herbs yesterday, I got coupons in the mail today for that local nursery
Weatherman here said months switching conditions is the first ever for weather service records that go back to the late 18 hundreds.
I hope its another 200 years before it returns again.
always seems to happen
My lilies are suffering.
oh no JoAnn
