growing up, my ponies would start stareing at the house when it got close to dinner. Dad used to call it 'stareing holes in the house'.

LOL
Talking about the staring act. We have a guy that comes and helps to do some of the heavier work here. Well Bear goes out side and does the Lassie Timmy fell down a well act until he guy follows Bear in. You know what he wanted. He wanted some of the shepherd's pie that they were saving for me when I got home.

Cliffie does that too. If we frown at him when we come to the rescue and it was a trick, he puts his head down and walks away as fast as we do.
If he feels we're late to feed him, such as when I'm typing on the computer, then it's clear. He puts his head on my mouse arm until I make eye contact. Then he makes a little slurping sound with his mouth. If that doesn't work, he licks his lips, all while making unblinking eye contact.
They are smarties!
No - WE are smart because we can understand them!
My neighbors found 4 black kittens on the side of the road coming back from Atlantic City, I posted on fb if any of my friends wanted 1, vet recommended that they stay together for a bit though since they are only about 6 weeks old, my friend from church took all 4 happy ending for all
Jen, that's wonderful! Lucky kitties!
VERY lucky ending!
Great!
It's nice when they can stay together.
Yup! Bailey and Carli would be very sad without each other! Nice story, Jen.
All cute stories of how our Furries communicate with us. I've never bought the theory that only humans cam reason. Don't think so, Folks!
Watching something from up there
Is he a hunter? None of my male cats hunted.....I need a good hunter, the chipmunks are getting way too bold!
My cats are way to spoiled and too well fed to be real dedicated hunters, but they have reduced our mouse population to just about zero.
Holly just loves to hunt vols. I think chipmunks would move too fast for her.
funny watching Hope learn from Lily how to get the chipmunks!!.. she watches her every move
There was a ribbon snake on the patio this morning....Suey walked right by it.....
He hunts. I was swimming in chipmunks last year. Haven't seen one this year. I never saw him kill a chippie, but he brought in a few last year unharmed. I'm hoping they figured out that it might not be the best place in town to raise a chippie family. Moles are a different story. Never knew I had them until he started bringing them to me, quite dead.
Odd that Suey didn't notice, but I've noticed my dogs miss a lot of things lately. So do I, aging ::::sigh:::
Very nice person, who takes in 4 homeless kittens.
Yep, as I age, I miss some things, too.
