Asian pear blooms withered

After the recent cold snap, many of my asian pear blooms have withered as in the picture. There are still good ones on the tree though. Just wondering if this is natural, a result of the cold, or something more sinister?

Have any of the leaves on your tree turned black like that? It could be fire blight. If so, there is an antibiotic treatment for it.
