Your snail mail addys must be in my email box by Thanksgiving Day. That gives plenty of time. Your lists will be sent to you very shortly thereafter.

I have been saving people's addresses since I started trading, sending and receiving SASE's and such. I was planning to send them all a card. :)

This is a great idea for folks to get together on. I think I'll just do what I was planning on anyway.

My homemade cards are ready and waiting. Just need to be addressed and stamped.

Melbourne, Victoria, Australia

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

Laura; I do hope you're going to share those brownies with the rest of us. AAAAA;you didn't plant those seeds in with the brownies did you??? If not,I'll take brownie, please;that is if you have any left.

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

I'd like to participate, too. Each year we send about a 100 cards to overseas military service persons with Opperation Dear Abby. It starts about mid-November. A few more for the fine folks at Dave's Garden should be lots of fun.

Yep, you cook like me amd drink the same kind of coffee. I'll be using a favorite, Italian Espresso from Central Market. Or would you prefer Tanzanian Peaberry? Shucks, I'll use the small pots and do both.

Fresh ground coffee.......smells good!

Great party, isn't it fun to get together and do things? I've pulled out some of the lace I have horded, and odd bits of ribbon, etc, and the cards I'm making will be from mostly vintage materials. The recycled things have all been cleaned, or as my granddarling says, sanitized, so I'll try to be careful not to drip coffee or smear chocolate. Laura, have you tried the traditional espresso, using a lemon twist and squeezing hard to get that tiny drop of lemon oil? Perfect after dinner cup for me. Please pass that carafe.

Melbourne, Victoria, Australia

certainly ... there you go..drink up!

i must try that coffee ... sound great!

So nice to be able to get together like this for coffee. Just think; once the cookbook comes out,we can all sit around and chat over the book and enjoy those wonderful recipes that have been submitted, over our morning coffee.
Once the book comes out; lets all meet at the same place for coffee or tea. What a think? Everyone make a breakfast item out of there and bring it with you to share with the rest. Can have a breakfast gathering. Yes, everyone is welcome; just bring a breakfast item that you have made from the cookbook. I will provide the beverages. Bring your own plate and silverware.

Georgetown, TX(Zone 8a)

CoCo, in the spirit of "When I Grow Old I Shall Wear Purple", maybe we should practice now? Make something we submitted to the cookbook or will, and have a movable feast. I could bring my version of spicy Malto-Meal muffins, and I could start at your house where everybody will meet. We'll have muffins there, you supply the coffee, tea, Dr. Pepper, whatever. It's chilly here, feeling really fallish, and your weather will be something different. I'll wear that old crocheted shawl my daughter hates, because I know I could take it on and off several times before the feast is over. Where are you taking us afterward, and what will we eat there? Who all is with us at this point?

Bring the muffins and I will fix my breakfast souffle. Shoot girl, leave the shaw at home. It's already 70 deg. here but windy. Dr.Pepper for breakfast?? Don't have it in the house. Have coffee, tea or hot chocolate. Table is set and fall decorations all around. Better get here early and beat the traffic. Don't want to get caught in the morning rush hour mess.
Get ready,Aimee, will be at your place in the morning.

Georgetown, TX(Zone 8a)

Oh, my, and I have no time to clean, I thought we would go somewhere else and I could get away without it. Not to worry, I'll have so many good smells coming from the kitchen, people won't see my mess. I will have Dr. Pepper, too, because I know a few strange people who start every day with it. Oops, should have said nice people. I must show you my wildflowers, they are still hanging in there despite my negligence, but the bridges all need repairs, so I hope some of the fellows will hang around and help me with the heavy stuff. After some good vittles and a tour of the struggling gardens, can we go to see Catlady? I love the tall trees on the way to east Texas. That will get us headed toward the east coast, where I'm sure there are some good cooks.

Memphis, TN
