Christmas Card Exchange

I think it would be very nice to exchange Christmas Cards with my Dave's Garden friends.

I was thinking that anyone who would like to exchange cards email me, and we will divide into groups of 7-10. Each group will mail out Christmas cards to everyone in their group, and receive that many back.

I'm sorry,I'm just in a funny - good mood of sorts.

It's a nice idea, but I usually try to find a nice e-card that fits the person's personality that comes thru in their emails and send those.

Okey doke - count me in. I love snail mail. It it's good, you can save it forever, sometimes it comes in nice boxes, sometimes it's lumpy with seeds, sometimes it's just a note saying that someone misses you. It it's junk, or bad, that's what trash cans are for!

I dont understand, do we send out boxes of cards that the recipient will use? (and we in turn will use theirs) or will we mail a card as we normally would to our friends and family with a little update on the inside about what the family is up to with photos etc.?

Am I dense or what? either way, I would like to participate.

Gee, maybe I should volunteer CoCoSeed as well.Nah,let her find this on her own. But I'm sure she will go in. I will make her, if I have to buy the cards for her myself.

I want to participate, too. Through our many moves, I've lost contact with old friends so don't receive many cards. Thanks for suggesting a Christmas card exchange---great idea!

Yes - sounds great! Ten sounds like a manageable number. :o) Whatever happened to the Christmas Round Robin boxes?! I'll have to check that thread and see if anything's become of them!

I'm in. Love Christmas and collect Santas. Some I leave out all year. People wonder if I'm early or late decorating for Christmas. Pam

Catlady,I collect music boxes and I have Christmas ones sitting out among the rest; the smaller ones that is. I have a larger one sitting on the floor in our bedroom. It's way too large to put on our 3 piece wall unit where I have the other 120 music boxes. Have others that aren't even out yet that are still boxed up. Just got another music box the other day thatI had on lay-away and my DH was sweet enough to get it out for me. That one I have in the kitchen on a cart,cause the wall unit is full secept maybe for a small one or two.

Pebble- I'll basically be giving you a list of people to send out your Christmas cards to. Those same people will be sending you Christmas cards from them. I hope that makes since :)

Everyone that wants to participate needs to send me their snail mail addys. I'll give everyone until Thanksgiving day to sign up. All names will be thrown into a "virtual hat" and randomly put into groups of 10 (or so) by the computer, so you never know who you will get.

This is going to be great fun!!
