Hi Fellow Gardeners,
Anyone have any advice or experience putting knock out roses where a black walnut tree used to stand?
It was just recently taken down so the toxicity is still very much in the surrounding underground roots.
I'm just not sure if these can be planted and survive.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Roses and Black Walnut
Have you googled? The toxin in walnut is called juglone, if that helps you search.
I have 2 knockout roses under 2 black walnut trees. They are doing great!! They aren't as big as they probably would be in full sun but are doing well with the dappled shade. They are both just a few feet from the trunks of the trees.
