had rain last night - need more

Currently 42 degrees and brilliantly sunny in WNY. Heading up to the mid 50's. Nice.

Enough rain to wet the driveway ....need several inches....

Just a heavy dew here.

Last week I had seven straight days where the output of the solar panels was 35kWh or more. I don't remember that ever happening before.

Sunny spring! Finally got some measurable rain, along with hail...I was walking Suey on the dam and it stung us both...had to head for home....

45 supposedly scattered showers & hail. Not scattered here.

it drizzled here for about 10 seconds.. just a tease

need rain BAD!

I'd love to report that we will be bringing the rain for the May flowers with us, but 'fraid not this year....we've had practically none here all winter.

I saw about 27 drops before.

I heard rain as I turned off the late news. Looked out the door & the porch is wet. A light rain, but I hope that it keeps up all night.

We got some rain yesterday, not enough but every little bit helps. We've been on high alert for forest fires for almost 2 weeks now.
I keep thinking it's been a long time since Baxter State Park burnt, it was 1977 the last time it happened. I was 17 and lived approx. 130 miles away.....the smoke got very thick and intense at times. I can remember waking up to the smell of smoke and it was dark , gloomy every day for several weeks. Praying we get enough rain soon to wipe out any chance of that happening!

Gorgeous day. 65 and sunny, but crazy low humidity again causing continued fire concern.

62 but comfortable. Did some more weeding of the horrid little white flowered weed.

Gorgeous sunny 59, sitting on the deck with an adult beverage after a very long day at work.

About to pour my own adult beverage - some red wine.

I have an iced latte.....was a lovely, sunny day today, 61......

Currently 54 degrees and cloudy in WNY. Going up to 70 with rain. I'll send some of that rain to whomever needs it. Not good weather for my wife and me with serious arthritis.

We'll take some rain, Dave! It was very hard to keep the ground wet enough for our yard waste burn yesterday. Everything was so dry, I was surprised burning was permitted--we found that sparks on our lasagna garden were very hard to extinguish.

Instead we get another beautiful day in the seventies, and no clouds to speak of. Boston area gets fewer than 80 per year of these. Still, the solar energy companies claim their systems pay for themselves in a few years because because of sun on cloudy days.

Already 64 here.....headed into the high 70s....no rain.....need it badly....
