Just read that March 2012 was the warmest on record. I'm not surprised, can't ever remember having 80 degree weather March!
It's 39 now, high of 52 today with showers.
Weather In Your Garden # 115
same here could really use a shower or a nice long soak!
man the wind is nuts here too.. just had to go get our garbage cans from a few houses away.. and one of the flowers blew across the street.. just whipping out there
Low 50s, mostly cloudy, crazy windy! March had nicer weather!
55 and sunny. it feels cooler because a breeze has picked up.
We really need rain. Big fire in Jersey. 57, with an arid 24% H. 40+ mph gusts.
Statin Island fires too
:(
Is it the dump that is burning in SI? Gross!!!! never seen brown smoke before
The pineys always have fires. up to 1000 acres already, we almost moved down there
my friend lives in Warren Grove.. makes me nervous
Yes, the area of the dump.
Sunny but windy
A fire not far from me - where I hike. 100 acres so far. No homes threatened yet.
just terrible
39 now .. going to 61
It's 37 now, high of 54 with some showers.
44 this morning. Very dry, red flag fire danger.
Red Fag up here as well for about the 5th straight day....dry as dust in my garden...I'm afraid to plant anything....
Another beautiful day on tap here in Texas. Low of 61 high 85. Jeff gets in the pool, but it is too chilly for me. I wait to get in the hot tub at night.
Good morning, everyone.
Another bright, sunny morning in WNY. Currently 38 degrees heading for the upper 40's with rain expected later. Pretty dry here too so the rain will be good. Gotta start mowing the lawns this week. Ugggh. ☺
Have a blessed and terrific Tuesday, friends.
-Dave
Up to 53 & sunny. A mite of a breeze.
40 and overcast
60° sunny and windy
61 &sunny. Got a couple hrs of weeding done (resting off & on). A half bucket of bitter cress. I hate that stuff. grass out of the beds can be raked up later. I don't think that my shoulder will be happy this evening.
Cool enough this morning for me to fertilize the hibiscus and water them well. After that, I was done for the day. Pathetic!
It was very cloudy this morning & I was hopeful for showers....now the sun has popped out......Iris, I also picked buckets of bitter cress yesterday....today I had to take the pain med my doctor gave me....and that's a last resort! Louise, I should have quit while I was ahead like you did....trying to do what we did 10 years ago is not always smart!
39 here - a claim of possible showers - sprinklers are on
Sunny, didn't get the rain they said we were going to
Had to turn the heat on though
Today here in West Virginia it feels cold last night got down in low 30s. Tonight the same. I was seeing sleet while I was outside. I have many flowers that are Already up. I even have green beans already up. I am covering green beans growing them in earthboxes. Hopefully my flowers will survive.
Hopefully they will be OK....I have peas up, but they like the cold....no rain here....still praying for it!
43 and overcast. my seeds are still in the greenhouse.
Went in the pool a little bit ago. Not for long -water temp 75. We may have to make this an annual jaunt to visit Houston over Jeff's Easter break. Very nice here.
that's warmer than the ocean in NE.
Not a very nice day for our first group hike. Still had a good time, though, after missing it so long.
Glad you're back walking, Victor! Cloudy now, but not a drop of rain.....
Yes, no rain here either. Trails were bone dry. Scary.
I don't remember the last time we had rain here...very worrying!
didn't rain here either... 42 now going to 60
Today: 39 now, overcast with showers at times. High 54F. Winds N at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 40%
40 here, going to low 50s....chance of showers....
DH reports a heavy dew, but no rain.
