as my seedlings get bigger, i slowly add them to the garden. right now dwarf grey peas and a beefsteak tomato are going to be added this weekend. the big patch of dirt in between the squash and pole beans are white onions.
my lil garden
It is a good start!!
Belle
Such a neat little garden.
It's so cute! and tidy!
Very nice.
That is simply adorable! May I suggest a border around it so the weed eater or lawn mower don't accidentally snap off any wee seedling heads?
A nice round timber border, or cut the timbers in half...
Hi Synsfun, your garden reminds me of my little plot when I was a child, do be aware that making a garden can become infectious and before you know it you end up with a garden covering several acres ha, ha, ha. You have to keep in mind the saying about little acorns too !!!!
Good luck to you and from experience your better starting off with a plot easy to handle than one whopper that you cant control and you loose confidence with what your doing. just enjoy, keep us posted. Good luck. WeeNel.
thanks to everyone, but I'm afraid I got the gardner's bug. But then again, i always get it every year. LOL. I have cantaloupes, serrano peppers, nasturtiums, and eggplants planted behind the house. Cuccumber and bell peppers are next to be added. As for a border, when i'm through adding on, small bricks will probably be used, until fall when everything starts dying down. Then I will build a raised bed.
