Hello,
I have had my pencil tree (Euphorbia Tirucalli) for about two years. This winter, as it was indoors, it began to develop a woody type limb along the upper limbs (per the picture). I thought it was beginning to die. But now as the weather has turned, the limbs continue to grow above the woody part. Is this normal?
Also, I have began to notice black dots along the lower limbs of the succulent. They are hard to the touch and part of the limb (I believe) I have also posted a picture of them.
I am not sure what these are, I hope my plant isn't dieing because it is my favorite.
