I have some flower seedlings growing in my class room window. We will be on spring break next week , with no way to water them. They will go nine days with out watering. My students have put a lot of work into growing these plants, and I hate to see them die. Any ideas on how to keep them growing? Thank you
Tammy
how to water seedlings?
Would there be a janitor/handyman working any of those days who could water them for you?
Can you take them home with you?
The janitor has already said he cant water them, and there are to many to transport home. do you think if I can get some one to come in next wednesday and water them that it would be enough to keep them alive?
What size of pots are they in?
One watering during that time in addition to enclosing all the pots in clear plastic would probably get them through... or at least would be your best bet if you can't put them in trays or boxes to take them home.
Are they in individual pots so you could send each student home with one to take care of?
I am going to send most of them home with students who i kmnow are responsible enough to care for them then the rest I will put in plastic .great ideas, thanks so much !!!
