Hello. I have a pomegrante tree (2 years into my backyard) that's doing nothing for the start of spring. Stands about 4 ft tall. I live in north Florida, had a warm start to February. Everything was pollinating and shooting leaves. Then a couple weeks into the month we got 2 days of hard freezes. 18-20 degree mornings. The pomegrante 's leaves shriveled and fell. I lightly pruned the twiggy stuff and no growth but 2 small shoots from the base of it. The trunk looks fine but all the branches are shedding their outer bark & look dead. I've pitched-forked holes around the plant giving it water and we're getting rain. Temps have been around 55 morn - 82 afternoon since early March. What's my next step? Should I prune every branch except the 2 leader trunks? Thank you to anyone with advice.
