Columbine Seeds

Hello I am new to gardening. I have built a flower bed and need help with Columbine seeds. I have just bought a package of seeds and little information came with them. I have the package chilling in the fridge. Can I just plant seeds from package or do I need to start them indoors? I live in Hamilton ,Canada zone 5a I believe.
