Hello there,
Toronto has had an unseasonably warm 2 weeks in March and there are green shoots in my garden everywhere I look! However, it looks like the early warmth has come to an end, and forecasters are predicting minus 2 and minus 3 degree celsius temperatures overnight on Monday and Tuesday. How am I going to protect all of my plants?
My hydrangeas, my tree peonies, my lilacs all have green leaves coming out. My clematis vines too. Most of my perennials have come an inch out of the ground!
Any tips would be appreciated! I am sure I am one of many novice gardeners wondering this!
Early spring shooting and frost protection!!
