Hi everyone! My mom and brother recently passed away and I was given all of the live plants from their services. I have id'ed all but this little beauty. It came home from the florist with a nasty case of root rot and didn't last long, but I would like to replace it. All of the plants from that florist came home in a sodden clay mix and rotted quickly before I caught it. I was able to salvage some, but not all and now I can't remember which florist it came from to ask them for ID.
Everyone I have asked says calla lily, but I am quite sure it isn't. The white tips have two sections and they are not hard like a calla, but soft and wavy.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you~Amy
Trying to ID this funeral plant
Hi Petuniablue, Your plant looks like a miniture Calla Lily of some kind. Any florist should be able to answer your question as I think they are used fairly often. If you know of a large greenhouse in your area, they may even grow them.

I would suggest posting in the Plant ID forum, someone there should be able to identify it for you very quickly. http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/f/plantid/all/
